FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
The first step is to book an introductory flight. This flight with one of our Instructors is a short flight with to help you decide if flying is for you. If you have already decided that you want to learn to fly, your first step is to visit the club and enroll in your chosen course, and book a first lesson. Remember that now is also the time to arrange for the medical exam. You may take lessons while waiting for medical approval but this must be received before solo flight can be authorized.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO FINISH THE LICENSE OR PERMIT?
Everyone works at their own pace. There is no time limit for flight training. Most students work full-time or attend other educational institutions while learning to fly.
A Recreational Permit can be completed in 3 to 4 weeks if flying on a full time schedule.
A Private Pilot License can be completed in 4-7 weeks if flying on a full time schedule.
Most students complete their license or permit in approximately 3 months.
The more often you fly the shorter the time required to complete the course since there will be less to review each flight.

ARE THOSE SMALL PLANES SAFE?
